The Bugatti Type 35 is one of the most successful racing cars of all time. But don't just take our word for it: the French manufacturer's convertible sports car won more than 2000 victories between 1924 and 1930.
With a top speed of 215 km/h, the Type 35B wasn't just a remarkable sports car - it was a sleek, lightweight (thanks to its aluminum body and wheels, an absolute novelty) and tough vehicle that set the standard for many to follow.
The original Type 35 underwent a number of modifications and improvements to make it even more competitive. From 1500 cc it grew to 1800 cc, with a huge supercharger that made it a benchmark for racing cars in the late 20s and early 30s. Oh, and still won not one, but two Monaco Grand Prix - not bad, right?
The Bugatti Type 35B in particular, which inspired this collaboration and is part of the Caramulo Museum collection, is considered one of the most original, rare and valuable Bugattis in the world.
