Once Upon a time there was Lancia, one of the largest car manufacturers in Italy. At that time, before Scooby's and Evo's, there lived the hero of our story, the Lancia Delta. And, like a character in a fantasy world, he suddenly went from a quiet utility man to a rally God. When it entered the WRC battlefield with its vermouth War Paint, It was so good that it made everything else look prehistoric in comparison, carelessly destroying competitors and leaving only tyre marks behind.
He won the WRC constructors 'title in his debut year in' 87 and then won 6 (six!) consecutive years and has become, to this day, the most successful rally car of all time.
And, more than a quarter of a century after its introduction, Integrale continues to be loved and respected, perhaps now even more than ever.
